The game is finally here, well tomorrow it is. The biggest game in Utah history comes down tomorrow in New Orleans, and of course not many people are giving Utah a chance!
Those who have followed Alabama football for some time, you should know that the issue is the national championship. Because it is so remote a possibility this year as to be inconsequential. But this doesn’t mean that this is an insignificant bowl game as some have intimated in the wake of the Andre Smith suspension.
Now this is what I will predict, when Utah has the possession of the ball, Utes are going to do their best at balancing out their offense. There is a tricky part here, that is a lot will depend on how much Brian Johnson gets through the air but expect a game very similar to the TCU one. If the Utes can get things moving in the passing game, though, it will certainly open things up a bit. I hope this sounds logical to you.
Next is to predict what to expect when Alabama has the ball,. I believe The Tide love to run the ball and will probably do just that. Expect them to test Utah’s defensive line early and if they can tear it up on the ground, there won’t be much need for John Parker Wilson’s arm.
Here comes the nest part of my prediction, that is how is Utah going to win this game. Firstly there can be no turnovers allowed with a decent run defense and a balanced offense. This will be the toughest test Utah has had in years and they will need to play near to the flawless stage to have a chance to win this Sugar Bowl Game. If they don’t, then things will get out of hand rather quickly.
If you feel otherwise, feel free to comment below and tell me your thots!
